Weekend Working Visit to the Republic of Turkey

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic, together with Mayor of Zavidovići Erna Merdić Smailhodžić and members of the delegation, visited the Honorary Consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bursa during a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

The delegation introduced the hosts, Deputy Honorary Consul Ms. Dženita Kocaman and Honorary Consul Mr. Muzafer Çilek, to the potential of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, particularly the city of Zavidovići, which has much to offer future investors. Discussions covered important steps for advancing economic cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Türkiye, through connecting Turkish investors with the Canton's business community and exchanging good practices.

Such visits represent a significant instrument in strengthening friendly and economic ties between the two countries, and open possibilities for concrete business contacts and investment projects in the Zenica-Doboj Canton area.
