Visit to the Yunus Emre Institute in Sarajevo with the Mayor of Zavidovići

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic, together with Mayor of the City of Zavidovići Erna Merdić Smailhodžić, visited the Yunus Emre Institute in Sarajevo, where they were warmly hosted by Director Mehmet Akif Yaman.

During the visit, discussions were held on cooperation opportunities and future joint activities that could further strengthen ties between the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Republic of Turkey. The Yunus Emre Institute, as an institution dedicated to promoting Turkish culture and language, represents an important partner in further deepening cultural and educational ties.

Minister Sibonjic and Mayor Merdić Smailhodžić expressed satisfaction with the visit and readiness to realise joint projects that will contribute to strengthening friendly relations between the two peoples, particularly in the areas of culture, education and economic cooperation.
