Minister Šibonjić signs contract to continue the domestic production campaign

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić signed a contract with the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton formalising the continuation of the project “Promotion of the Domestic Economy, Domestic Production and Domestic Products”. With this contract, the Ministry of Economy continues its active support for the domestic economy, domestic production and companies from the canton, with the aim of further promoting and strengthening local producers.

The project is implemented as a campaign aimed at raising public awareness of the importance of buying quality domestic products and strengthening economic patriotism. According to the Ministry, this is the first campaign of its kind carried out by a public authority to support the purchase of domestic products. In the coming period, new activities and content will be presented as part of the campaign, with an additional focus on promoting quality domestic products and bringing local producers closer to consumers.

On this occasion, Minister Šibonjić emphasised that every mark spent on a domestic product stays in the domestic economy, supports producers and contributes to the development of the community, which makes support for domestic production a matter of economic patriotism. “When we buy domestic, we preserve and create jobs, strengthen the position of all our workers, strengthen our companies and build a stronger economy,” Minister Šibonjić stated. The continuation of the campaign confirms the Ministry’s commitment to making domestic companies stronger, more competitive and ready for new markets, while creating new jobs and strengthening the economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
