Minister Šibonjić signs 45 contracts to develop tourism infrastructure

Minister Šibonjić signed 45 contracts for tourism infrastructure projects, as the Ministry has allocated 4.4 million KM for this purpose since 2022.

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić signed 45 contracts for the allocation of funds to support tourism infrastructure and superstructure projects. With the signing of these contracts, the Ministry of Economy continues its concrete investment in the development of tourism and the improvement of the tourism offer in Zenica-Doboj Canton. This is one of the programmes through which the Ministry systematically strengthens the tourism potential of the canton.

Support for the development of tourism infrastructure is an ongoing activity of the Ministry of Economy, which allocated a total of 4,405,687.91 KM for this purpose between 2022 and 2026. The funds are directed towards projects for the construction and improvement of tourism infrastructure, as well as the development of superstructure, meaning facilities and services that directly improve the quality of visitors’ stays. In this way, the programme links public investment with the real needs of destinations and local communities.
