Minister Šibonjić took part in a symposium on digitalisation and AI in business

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić took part in the International Symposium on digitalisation and the application of artificial intelligence in business. The symposium was organised by the FINRA University Tuzla and the educational and consulting company FINconsult, led by Prof. Dr. Ismet Kalić. It brought together experts, members of the academic community and representatives of the business sector.

For years, the FINRA University Tuzla and FINconsult have organised international symposia as part of the continuous professional development of the financial, accounting and management professions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year’s symposium focused on the digital transformation of business processes and the impact of artificial intelligence on modern business. These topics increasingly shape the competitiveness of domestic companies in regional and European markets.

Minister Šibonjić’s participation centred on the Ministry’s activities in developing the digital economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton. The Ministry has launched IT HUBs and the IT-AI Academy, which plays a key role in developing advanced technologies and strengthening the Canton’s human resources in information technology. Minister Šibonjić thanked the organisers and participants of the symposium. His participation reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the digital transformation of the economy through cooperation with the academic community.
