Minister Sibonjic Visited Baumy in Zavidovići: A Quality Product Is a Guarantee of Success

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited the Baumy paint, varnish and construction materials factory in Zavidovići. The Baumy brand was created as a result of the successful operations of Almy d.o.o. Zenica, with the project realised in May 2014. During the visit, the Minister spoke with factory director Adnan Kubat and chief technologist Anela Hodžić Marušić.

Baumy employs 23 workers and comprises two production programmes: adhesives, mortars, facades and wall paints, as well as protective coatings for wood and metal, including epoxy industrial floors and road paints. The entire production is automated in a modern hall of 1,500 m², with products certified with the CE mark for export to EU countries and tested in the company's own laboratories.

Minister Sibonjic expressed confidence that Baumy has great potential and that its management and workers will seize opportunities for further development. Director Kubat announced plans to expand warehouse space and further modernise production, alongside a developed wholesale network within BiH and exports to EU countries and Montenegro.
