

Minister Sibonjic Visited the Mayor of Nevşehir Rasim Arı
Minister Sibonjic visited Nevşehir Mayor Rasim Arı, discussing tourism cooperation and a twinning protocol between Nevşehir and Sarajevo.
Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited the Mayor of Nevşehir, Rasim Arı, as part of a series of contacts during his stay in the Turkish city. Sibonjic was welcomed at the entrance to the city hall by Mayor Arı and the deputy mayors. During the meeting, the Minister received information about the region's tourist attractions, particularly the historic Kayaşehir, which was opened to tourism by the Nevşehir Municipality.
Minister Sibonjic emphasised that Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina are brotherly nations and that he and Mayor Arı have cultivated a longstanding friendship. He particularly highlighted the importance of tourism as an economic sector, noting that Cappadocia as a destination attracts visitors from around the world and that the Ministry of Economy places great importance on developing the tourism sector and cooperation potential in this field.
Mayor Arı expressed his pleasure at hosting Minister Sibonjic in Nevşehir, the centre of Cappadocia, and noted that efforts are actively underway to sign a twinning protocol between Nevşehir and Sarajevo. Both sides expressed readiness to further deepen dialogue and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
