Minister Sibonjic Visited TURKTOB in Ankara

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic met in Ankara with Ömer Güler, President of the Turkish Seed Growers Association – TÜRKTOB. The meeting began with a remembrance of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide, followed by discussions on cooperation possibilities in the field of seed production and agricultural activities.

The launch of studies in the near future was agreed upon, focusing on the development of seed production as well as sociological, cultural and commercial activities between the two countries. Minister Sibonjic highlighted the commitment to joint action within the institutions of both friendly countries with the aim of creating conditions for new investors and strengthening bilateral relations.

New meetings at the expert level are planned to ensure that the agreed initiatives result in concrete projects that will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in the Zenica-Doboj Canton and enhance cooperation with Turkish partners in this field.
