Minister Sibonjic Presented Investment Opportunities in BiH and ZDK to Turkish Investors in Ankara

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic attended a meeting in Ankara organised by the Balkan Aid, Support and Solidarity Association, led by its president Timuçin Demir. Members of the Turkish business community participated in the meeting, which began with a tribute to the victims of the Srebrenica genocide.

Minister Sibonjic presented the current state of economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina and investment potential, emphasising that the developing country offers great opportunities, particularly due to its proximity to the large European market which provides access to the entire European Union market. He invited those present to cooperate with the entrepreneurs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, who are active and progressive.

Ferhat Bitiş, representative of the Swiss-based financial organisation ICMI, also addressed the attendees with a presentation on financing possibilities and models for projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Minister Sibonjic expressed gratitude to the organisers and the people of the Republic of Turkey for their continued support to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
