Ministers Sibonjic and Šimunović visited B&I Metali Zenica, a metal processing company employing diaspora returnees.

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic and Minister of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees Antonio Šimunović visited the Zenica-based company B&I Metali and spoke with director Elmedin Karić. Minister Sibonjic expressed particular appreciation for the company's contribution to employing welders and metalworkers, especially returnees from Germany and other European countries.

B&I Metali was founded in 2012, with mechanical metal processing as its core activity. Director Karić returned to his homeland after 13 years spent in European countries to establish his own company, with the goal of providing young people the opportunity to remain in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company started with approximately ten employees and tripled that number within a year of operation.

Minister Sibonjic stressed that companies like B&I Metali, which contribute to employment and the return of citizens from the diaspora, will always find a partner and support at the Ministry of Economy. A commitment was expressed to continue the growth and development trend of this company with the support of the Zenica-Doboj Canton institutions.
