Ministers Sibonjic and Šimunović with Mayors of Several Municipalities Visit the Regional Office of Merhamet in Maglaj

Minister of Economy of ZDK Samir Sibonjic and Minister of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees Antonio Šimunović, together with mayors of several municipalities, visited the Regional Office of the humanitarian organisation "Merhamet" in Maglaj. This office has been providing assistance to those most in need across the Zenica-Doboj Canton for many years.

During the visit, discussions were held on possibilities for enhanced cooperation between cantonal institutions and the humanitarian organisation, with the aim of more effectively supporting vulnerable population groups. Representatives of Merhamet presented their activities and the challenges they face in their daily work.

The Ministry of Economy of ZDK recognises the importance of humanitarian organisations in supporting local communities and will continue to back initiatives that contribute to the well-being of the citizens of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
