ZDK Government Approves Funds for Retirement of Another 90 Workers of Krivaja Zavidovići

Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Nezir Pivić met with representatives of workers from the companies "Krivaja Mobel" and IP "Krivaja" Zavidovići regarding the linking of years of service for workers who meet the conditions for retirement. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees Antonio Šimunović, Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic, and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Jasmin Čajić.

It was concluded that the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton is duly fulfilling its obligations for the allocation of funds based on contributions as a condition for the retirement of workers of companies in bankruptcy or liquidation. Since the appointment of the current Government at the end of the previous year, approximately 260,000 KM has been allocated from the cantonal budget for the retirement of Krivaja workers.

Prime Minister Pivić announced that the Government will approve the corresponding portion of funds in a timely manner for approximately 90 workers of "Krivaja" who met the conditions for retirement in 2023 and 2024, and will continue to provide funds for the retirement of the remaining workers, thereby confirming the Government's social responsibility towards workers who spent their careers at these companies.
