Ministry of Economy of ZDK and ZDK Chamber of Commerce Began Activities in Line with the Signed Memorandum of Cooperation

The Ministry of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton and the Canton's Chamber of Commerce launched activities to implement the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on 15 April 2024. A high degree of agreement was reached for immediate cooperation in six key areas: creating a joint database of business entities, developing a cooperation programme, visiting the Trade Fair in Osijek, participating in domestic trade fairs, international cooperation, and digitalisation of the economy in the canton.

These activities are establishing the foundations of future cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Commerce, which in the coming period will be the product of a planned and programmatic approach to the memorandum's implementation. The cooperation is directed towards concrete projects that will contribute to strengthening the canton's economy.

Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic expressed hope for active and beneficial cooperation for the economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, emphasising that this is just the beginning and that jointly designed and implemented projects will make the canton's economy even stronger in the period ahead.
