ZDK Government and ZDK Chamber of Commerce Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Eight Priority Areas

Premier of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton Nezir Pivić and President of the Canton's Chamber of Commerce Dijana Babić signed a memorandum of cooperation in eight priority areas, ensuring the continuity of cooperation in the coming period. Premier Pivić emphasised that the Government's focus is on economic development, improving the business environment to attract investments, and strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises.

President Babić noted that the memorandum envisages cooperation in coordinating the legislative framework, joint projects financed from EU funds, secondary vocational and adult education, active employment measures, participation in trade fairs, cooperation with the diaspora, and attracting diaspora investments.

The signing was attended by Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic, who highlighted the commitment to improving the business environment through the development of 22 business zones with 4 million KM allocated in the budget, and noted that nine active concession agreements for the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources are in place in the canton, with priority given to companies from Zeničko-Dobojski Canton.
