The International General BH Economy Fair ZEPS and the ViennaLink Business Agency signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Vienna. The signing was attended by Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic, Executive Director of ZEPS Sanel Ibrić, Director of Corporate Communications Adis Hasaković, and Šaban Forić, Deputy Ambassador of BiH to the Republic of Austria.
Minister Sibonjic expressed satisfaction with the established cooperation, emphasising that people from the canton who live and work abroad represent a special strength that can contribute to the development of their homeland. The goal of the cooperation is to attract companies from Austria to participate in the upcoming ZEPS fair, scheduled for 2 to 5 September 2026 in Zenica.
The Memorandum confirms a mutual interest in improving economic relations, promoting business entities from Bosnia and Herzegovina with a special focus on the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and increasing investment and trade activities in the markets of Austria and the European Union. The ultimate goal is the further growth of the ZEPS fair in the Austrian and EU market, as well as an overall contribution to the growth of exports, investments and economic exchange.
