Reception of Italian Business Delegation: New Investments in ZDK
Minister Sibonjic received a delegation of Italian businessmen to discuss new investments, IT cooperation, and plans for transferring production to ZDK.
Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic received a delegation of Italian businessmen in his office. Discussions focused on potential investments from Italy aimed at launching new companies whose production would be intended for the EU and Italian markets.
The meeting was attended by director Andrej Agačević and the Italian co-founders of SPIN316, headquartered in Zenica and the first member of the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in BiH, as well as representatives of Dispotech (disposable medical and dental products), Think1816 (human resources and business development), Playmarketing (market research and branding), and Ufficio Service (IT and software development).
"The topics of discussion included attracting Italian investors, finding partners for Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies, and transferring production from Italy to the canton with the intention of exporting to the EU market. We also discussed the opening of an IT company in cooperation with Zeda, with the possibility of sponsoring scholarships and training for young IT professionals, as well as tourism development. We are planning a visit by Ministry representatives to the Lombardy region," said Minister Sibonjic.
"Zenica-Doboj Canton is attracting increasing attention from foreign investors day by day. A skilled workforce, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to excellence in everything the canton's entrepreneurs do – all of this is drawing investor interest. I am confident that in a short time we will significantly increase the level of investments, particularly foreign ones," said Minister Sibonjic.
