Contracts Signed at the ZDK Government Headquarters

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic signed contracts with representatives of cities and municipalities for the allocation of incentive funds intended to subsidise the costs of organising and constructing business zones, totalling 650,000 KM. Funds were approved for the municipalities of Tešanj, Žepče, Maglaj, Olovo and Zavidovići at 100,000 KM each, Doboj Jug at 94,967.97 KM, and Usora at 55,032.03 KM.

Minister Sibonjic emphasised the Government's commitment to creating the best possible conditions for existing and new investors in business zones, with plans to announce an additional public call for one million marks for business zones in the near future. The Zenica-Doboj Canton has 22 business zones of varying levels of development, all serving as the backbone of local economic growth.

Mayor of Usora Mirnes Tukić thanked the Government and the Ministry, stressing that infrastructure support is crucial for attracting new investors. The Municipality of Maglaj highlighted that investments in the "Liješnica" business zone over the past five years have resulted in dozens of new investments and hundreds of jobs, with two further significant investments expected in the near future.
