

Return Visit of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Government Delegation to BPK Gorazde
ZDK Government delegation visited BPK Goražde, discussing inter-cantonal cooperation in infrastructure and tourism.
A delegation of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Government paid an official visit to the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde. The visit began with laying flowers at the central memorial to fallen defenders of Goražde and continued with a meeting at the BPK Government building, where line ministers for veterans' affairs, urbanism, spatial planning and environmental protection, internal affairs, and economy, led by Premier Edin Ćulov, discussed the establishment of inter-cantonal cooperation with their ZDK Government counterparts. Discussions covered possibilities for projects aimed at veteran and social categories, as well as tourism development.
BPK Goražde Minister of Urbanism Bojan Krunić highlighted the importance of cooperation to date, particularly in environmental protection, thanking the ZDK Ministry of Spatial Planning for providing an air quality monitoring unit. ZDK Minister of Economy Samir Sibonjic expressed satisfaction with the visit, emphasising the importance of developing economic and tourism potential in both cantons and pledging support for the planned construction of a memorial centre in BPK Goražde.
The delegation also included Minister Adnan Šabani, Minister Adnan Sirovica, and Acting Director of the ZDK Tourist Board Jasmin Šarić, who discussed more intensive tourism cooperation with BPK Tourist Board Director Armin Bukva. Discussions also covered a potential inter-cantonal cooperation protocol. The delegation visited an exhibition of sculptures by Goražde artist Jakub Hubjer at the Goražde Business Centre.
