Turkish Ambassador Visits Zavidovići

Turkish Ambassador Emin Akseki visited Zavidovići with Minister Sibonjic. A pasta production facility at Merhamet was ceremonially opened.

His Excellency Emin Akseki, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited Zavidovići as one of his first destinations since taking office. The esteemed Ambassador visited Zavidovići accompanied by Mr. Erdinç Işık, Director of TIKA for BiH, and was hosted by Mayor of Zavidovići Erna Merdić Smailhodžić, Minister of Economy of ZDK Samir Sibonjic, and Chairman of the Board of MDD Merhamet Kenan Vrbanjac.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Zavidovići Merhamet and ceremonially opened a pasta production facility that will be used in public kitchens throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. This project directly helps the most vulnerable segments of the population and represents an example of how friendship and cooperation between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina can yield concrete and noble results.

Ambassador Akseki's visit to Zavidovići confirms the strong ties between the two countries and the readiness to continue cooperation on projects that contribute to improving the quality of life for citizens in Zenica-Doboj Canton and across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
