Support for the Company Saga d.o.o. After a Severe Fire in Žepče

A major fire broke out on the premises of the company Saga d.o.o. Žepče, which specialises in wood processing and furniture production, causing enormous material damage. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the damage to production facilities was significant.

Minister of Economy of ZDK Samir Sibonjic and Minister of Labour, Social Policy and Refugees Antonio Šimunović, together with business association presidents Nagib Mujkić and Marinko Antolović from Žepče, visited the company Saga and spoke with the management. The importance of urgent assistance in repairing the damage and supporting the restoration of production was emphasised in order to preserve jobs for 70 employees.

The company Saga represents an important economic entity in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and the management expressed its commitment to restoring production. The Ministry of Economy of ZDK will continue to monitor the situation and provide support within its competencies.
