Support for the Development of Sports in Zavidovići

Minister of Economy of ZDK Samir Sibonjic hosted a delegation of the Football Club "Krivaja" Zavidovići at the headquarters of the Zenica-Doboj Canton. Together with the Speaker of the ZDK Assembly Ćazim Huskić, key issues regarding the future of this sports collective were discussed, including the continuation of infrastructure works on the auxiliary and main pitches and systematic support for the development of youth teams.

FC "Krivaja" Zavidovići, a club founded in 1919, carries a rich sporting tradition and has produced many notable players, including Safet Sušić, one of the greatest footballers in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club's leadership highlighted the need for continued support to maintain this tradition and create better conditions for young athletes.

The Government of ZDK will continue to support projects that contribute to the development of sports in local communities, recognising sports collectives as important ambassadors of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Minister Sibonjic thanked the club's leadership for the visit and stressed the importance of cooperation between the canton's business community and sports clubs.
