Visit to the Ajdinovići Sports and Recreation Centre: Among the Best in This Part of Europe
Minister Sibonjic visited the SRC Ajdinovići in Olovo, the first all-inclusive resort in BiH with 500 beds, 400,000m2 and over 20,000 guests annually.
The Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, Samir Sibonjic, visited the summer camp at the Ajdinovići Sports and Recreation Centre, spending time with young athletes from across the country and the diaspora.
The SRC Ajdinovići is the first and only all-inclusive centre in BiH and a primary destination for guests from the country and the wider region. Located near the Sarajevo-Tuzla highway in the municipality of Olovo, it opened in 2015 and is considered one of the most attractive resorts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"At the Sports and Recreation Centre, athletes have everything they need for high-quality preparations. It is truly remarkable what the dedicated investors have accomplished in a relatively short time. I sincerely recommend all athletes and recreational visitors to come to Ajdinovići, one of the finest centres in this part of Europe," Minister Sibonjic stated.
The centre spans 400,000 square metres at an altitude of approximately 950 metres above sea level. It features sports facilities for football, basketball, tennis, beach volleyball and a multifunctional sports hall. Accommodation includes Hotel Central, Hotel Horizont, bungalows, mountain lodges and luxury villas, totalling 500 beds.
The all-inclusive package includes a spa centre, unlimited food and beverages, outdoor swimming pools, nature walks and a zoo. In the previous year, the centre welcomed over 20,000 guests with more than 40,000 overnight stays.
