Visit of Energy Sector Consultant Halil Sulejmanović to the Ministry of Economy of ZDK

The Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton was visited by Halil Sulejmanović, consultant for legal and business aspects of the energy and economic sectors, and former Executive Director of KJKP Sarajevo. Sulejmanović presented projects he has implemented in the region, including the Zenica District Heating Plant and reorganisation of private companies in Tešanj.

Within the discussion, possibilities for transferring acquired experience to new development initiatives were examined, with particular focus on projects that could contribute to energy efficiency and modernisation of economic infrastructure. Sulejmanović emphasised the importance of inter-cantonal cooperation as an instrument for realising larger-scale projects that exceed the capacities of individual cantons.

He also proposed several ideas for joint projects between Zenica-Doboj Canton and Canton Sarajevo, with emphasis on municipalities along the border area. Minister Sibonjic expressed interest in further cooperation on the proposed initiatives, assessing that such projects have the potential to deliver concrete results for the economies of both cantons.
