Visit to the International University of Sarajevo on the Occasion of the New Academic Year

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) on the occasion of the start of the new academic year. The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş, delivered an address on the topic "Is a New World Possible?" before numerous representatives of the legislative and executive branches of the Republic of Türkiye.

Minister Sibonjic had the opportunity to converse with a distinguished friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina, former Minister of Defence of the Republic of Türkiye Hulusi Akar and his associates, as well as with parliamentarians and Chairman of the Defence Committee Refik Özen, who also serves as chairman of the Friendship Group with Bosnia and Herzegovina within the Parliament of the Republic of Türkiye.

The Minister expressed gratitude to Turkish friends for their visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. A shared hope was expressed that cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Türkiye will be even more intensive, stronger and more fruitful in the period ahead, with continued strengthening of ties at all levels of bilateral relations.
