Visit to HAGAT Company and Discussions with the President of the Turgut Özal Foundation

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, visited the defense industry company HAGAT in the Republic of Turkey, as well as the Turgut Özal Foundation – named after the late President of the Republic of Turkey and great friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turgut Özal. On that occasion, Minister Sibonjic held discussions with the President of the Foundation, Semih Narlı, about opportunities for establishing cooperation with similar companies and foundations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

HAGAT Savunma Teknolojileri is one of the defense industry companies of the Republic of Turkey. With its experienced staff, the company possesses significant capabilities for the production of components for multiple launch rocket systems, unguided rockets, launchers of various dimensions, composite materials, and components for reconnaissance, surveillance, and radar systems.

Mutual readiness for establishing concrete cooperation was expressed, and Minister Sibonjic emphasized that the Ministry of Economy of ZDK will work to create conditions for the realization of this cooperation. HAGAT has earned the trust of numerous major defense organizations in Turkey and worldwide thanks to its equipment and expert personnel.
