Visit to Rudar Kompany d.o.o. Breza: Recycling as a Development Opportunity

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited Rudar Kompany d.o.o. in Breza and met with the company's management.

Rudar Kompany was established in 1996 and entered the PET and polyethylene purchasing and recycling business in 2004. Investments have been made in a dedicated press and an automated processing line for hard plastics and regranulate production.

"The task of the Ministry of Economy is to improve the business environment, but also to identify opportunities for further growth and development of the entire economy. It is precisely companies like these that contribute to strengthening the canton's position as one of the most productive regions in the country. Zenica-Doboj Canton is increasingly becoming a desirable destination for investments, both domestic and foreign. The Ministry stands at the service of all those who wish to invest in this canton," said Minister Sibonjic.

Today the company operates from its own premises in the Šaš industrial zone with modern equipment. They carry out complete recycling of PELD film and plan to acquire a new extruder for plastic recycling and install solar panels to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
