Visit to the Company Ćosićpromex d.o.o.

Following more than 20 years of successful operations by the company Ćosićpromex d.o.o. from Žabljak in the municipality of Usora, the first official meeting was held between the Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, and the company director, Mijo Ćosić. The meeting provided an opportunity to learn more about the operations of this company, which represents a significant economic entity in the local community.

The main topic of discussion was the economic and social development of the municipality of Usora, Director Ćosić's business activities, and the issue of young people returning from abroad to Bosnia and Herzegovina to start new businesses and create jobs. Minister Sibonjic and Director Ćosić shared a common vision of establishing an economic HUB as a business incubator in local communities, which would provide young people with the opportunity to realise their business ideas.

During the meeting, particular emphasis was placed on the need for investment in local infrastructure, including housing units, given that economic growth is directly linked to an increase in the workforce. It was concluded that the municipality of Usora, together with the municipality of Tešanj, represents a positive example of how investing in local communities has a favourable impact on overall social and economic development.
