

Working Visit to the Municipality of Usora
Minister Sibonjic visited the municipality of Usora and local businesses to assess economic trends and the impact of Ministry support.
The Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, and advisor Esmir Bašić visited the municipality of Usora to familiarise themselves on the ground with economic trends in one of the youngest municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as with the effects of the support provided by the Ministry of Economy to this local community. The visit began with a meeting with the Mayor, Zvonimir Anđelić, and the assistant for economy, Anto Bonić.
Following the meeting at the municipality, visits to businesses and discussions with the management of NowCold metal constructron d.o.o., Katić d.o.o., Imaco d.o.o. and Ćosić promex d.o.o. were conducted. The aim of the visits was to gain insight into the production capacity, business challenges and development plans of these companies, which form the backbone of economic life in the municipality of Usora.
Based on the visits conducted, it can be concluded that economic development in the municipality of Usora is recording positive trends, that various industrial sectors are developing successfully, and that the economy is making a significant contribution to the quality of life in the local community. At the same time, a shortage of workforce was identified as one of the key challenges for further growth of the economic sector.
