Visit to the Eco House at Smetovi - Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Connecting Youth Through Nature
Minister Sibonjic visited the Eco House at Smetovi, promoting regional cooperation and connecting youth through nature and community building.
Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic, together with his associates, visited the Eco House at Smetovi. On this occasion, discussions were held with managers and children about future projects that will connect young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Novi Pazar.
Minister Sibonjic has led a number of significant projects within the ZDK Ministry of Economy, including investments in the Eco House at Smetovi and the procurement of boats for a summer camp at Boračko Lake. These projects aim to enable young people and scouts to spend time together in nature, further strengthening friendly ties among cities in the region.
Minister Sibonjic emphasised that connecting young people from different backgrounds contributes to their mutual understanding, education, and strengthening of environmental awareness, and that it is the Ministry's obligation to ensure opportunities for them to socialise, learn, and grow in a healthy environment. These projects are particularly important for strengthening regional cooperation and building a better society for future generations.
