Minister Sibonjic Inspected Works in the Ekonomija-Batvice Industrial Zone in Zavidovići

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic inspected the ongoing works in the Ekonomija Batvice Industrial Zone in Zavidovići, which is being developed thanks to funds from the Government and the Ministry of Economy amounting to 90,042.55 KM, allocated through a public call for eight industrial zones in the Canton.

On the proposal of the Ministry of Economy, the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton approved a total of 700,000 KM for subsidising the costs of organisation and construction of business zones across the Canton. The funds were distributed to the municipalities of Tešanj, Zavidovići, Žepče, Kakanj, Maglaj, Visoko, Olovo and Doboj Jug, continuing the systematic support for the development of industrial infrastructure.

Minister Sibonjic emphasised the Ministry's commitment to further strengthening the overall economic position of the Canton through allocated subsidies and creating the best possible conditions for development. The Zenica-Doboj Canton has 23 industrial zones in 12 cities and municipalities, and business zones represent the fastest path to accelerated development by enabling investors to launch operations quickly and efficiently.
