ZDK Government Approved 1.55 Million KM for Capital Projects in Cities and Municipalities, Information on Security Situation for 2023 Adopted

The Government of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, at a session chaired by Premier Nezir Pivić, adopted a set of decisions approving 1,550,000 KM in funding for cities and municipalities in the canton for the financing of capital projects in 2024. The Premier noted that this is the first set of adopted decisions and that further decisions on co-financing capital projects in the remaining cities and municipalities will be made at upcoming sessions.

At the same session, the Information on the security situation in the canton for 2023 was accepted, with the conclusion that the security situation had been satisfactory. Premier Pivić emphasised the Government's readiness to provide maximum support in equipping and strengthening the personnel of the Police Administration and in all other areas contributing to the safety of citizens.

The Government also approved 40,000 KM for the Srce za djecu Association for Children with Cancer from Sarajevo to support the Parents' House, which sheltered 14 families from the canton during 2023, 50,000 KM for the Red Cross of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton for programme activities in 2024, and 25,000 KM for the municipality of Žepče for emergency repairs of damage caused by severe storm winds.
