Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic and Mayor of Breza Municipality Vedad Jusić signed an agreement in the office of Premier Nezir Pivić to co-finance the construction of a marketplace in Breza in the amount of 400,000 KM, allocated through a public call. The total value of the project is 900,000 KM, with the remaining funds secured by Breza Municipality from other sources, and the facility is planned to be completed during the following year.
Mayor Jusić expressed gratitude to the Government and the relevant ministry, highlighting that the marketplace, in addition to economic benefits in terms of the exchange of domestic products and promotion of local producers, will also represent an architectural contribution to the central part of the municipality. Minister Sibonjic emphasised that support for the Breza marketplace project also constitutes support for the local small business sector, and that the facility will create quality conditions for businesspeople and farmers to store and sell products, while ensuring availability to citizens throughout the entire year.
Premier Nezir Pivić highlighted the Government's commitment to continuing to support infrastructure construction projects in local self-government units that are important for citizens. Through support for strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises and infrastructure in business zones, the Government aims to improve conditions for attracting investments and creating new jobs, thereby opening up better prospects for young people.
