13 young entrepreneurs from ZDK received business startup cost subsidies

Minister Sibonjic signed subsidy contracts of 7,000 KM each for business startup costs with 13 young entrepreneurs from Zenica-Doboj Canton.

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic signed contracts for the allocation of subsidies covering business startup costs, registration and operations with 13 young entrepreneurs from the Canton, each in the individual amount of 7,000 KM. Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Nezir Pivić wished the subsidy recipients success in their entrepreneurial endeavours, emphasising that the Government is committed to improving the overall business environment and creating better conditions for attracting investments and opening new jobs.

Minister Sibonjic noted that the new startups, in addition to financial support, can rely on the Ministry of Economy for assistance with business organisation and all challenges they may encounter. He expressed satisfaction with the motivation displayed by the beneficiaries, noting that several have already launched businesses they are pleased with, and that the Ministry will continue providing support for achieving even greater success.

The Government and Ministry of Economy will continue to support economic development through various incentive programmes focused on strengthening the competitiveness of companies and crafts, favourable lending and the development of business zones throughout Zenica-Doboj Canton. Such subsidy programmes represent a key instrument for supporting young entrepreneurship and creating new value in the cantonal economy.
