Minister Sibonjic Signed New Contracts for Business Zone Construction Subsidies in ZDK

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic signed contracts on the approval and allocation of incentive funds intended for subsidising the costs of organisation, construction of business zones and land acquisition for the purpose of establishing and expanding business zones in the canton. The total amount of approved funds is KM 700,000, with KM 100,000 each allocated to Zenica, Zavidovići, Tešanj, Žepče, Usora, Olovo and Maglaj.

Minister Sibonjic emphasised the continuation of expanding existing and constructing new business zones in the canton, creating a favourable business environment and concrete foundations for further economic development. He highlighted that the Zenica-Doboj Canton is a leader in many areas of industrial production, the only canton with a positive foreign trade balance and an export orientation, with added value created at every step thanks to capable and enterprising people.

The projects covered by these contracts include construction of a roundabout at the entrance to the "Zenica-Jug" zone, rehabilitation of road infrastructure in the "Majdanska polja" and "XP Žepče" zones, rehabilitation of roads, pavements and public lighting in the "Ciglana-Glinište" zone, road construction in the "Ularice – Phase III" zone, road infrastructure and water installations in the "Golubište-Pilana – Phase III" zone, and land acquisition for the construction of the "Novi Šeher" zone.
