

Business Leaders from Libya Visit the Ministry of Economy
Libyan business delegation visited ZDK Ministry of Economy and ArcelorMittal steelworks to strengthen business cooperation.
A delegation of business leaders from Libya visited the premises of the Ministry of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton. This was the second meeting of its kind, aimed at reorganising cooperation between business leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Libya, which had been briefly interrupted due to the crisis developments in that country.
The Libyan delegation comprised Hasan Dabek, Supervisor of the Sector for Services and Administrative Affairs, Walid Bleblo, Marketing Director, and Imran Bin Imran, Factory Director. Minister Sibonjic and his associates briefed the guests on the economic capacities of the Canton and positive economic trends, after which they jointly visited the ArcelorMittal Zenica steelworks and held a meeting with company director Nikhil Mehta to discuss business cooperation.
The visit of the Libyan delegation represents a significant step in strengthening economic ties between the two countries, with the guests expressing satisfaction with the economic potential of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and readiness to continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
