First Tech-Lab Opened in Tešanj, Ministry of Economy of ZDK Financially Supported the Project

The first coworking space TECH-LAB ceremonially opened in Tešanj, valued at 378,606 KM, with financial support from the ZDK Ministry of Economy.

The first coworking space TECH-LAB was ceremonially opened in Tešanj, following an adaptation and equipping process carried out in multiple phases over the past years, with a total project value of 378,606.84 KM. Speeches were delivered by Municipal Mayor Suad Huskić, Director of the Tešanj Municipal Development Agency TRA Edin Ibrahimović and Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic.

Minister Sibonjic emphasised that modern technologies form the foundation for the advancement and development of the economy, and that the economy of Tešanj serves as an example of how Bosnia and Herzegovina should be developed. He stressed the need to connect science, education and the Canton's entrepreneurs, and expressed satisfaction at the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and his associates at the opening. The Minister congratulated all who contributed to the realisation of this project, which represents the fulfilment of a shared vision for the future.

The TECH-LAB project is the result of cooperation among numerous domestic partners and was co-financed in part from European Union funds through the Local Employment Partnership, Phase II (LEP II). Financial support was provided by the European Union, the Municipality of Tešanj, the Tešanj Municipal Development Agency, the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, and the Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton. TECH-LAB offers an opportunity for entrepreneurs, freelancers and creatives to collaborate and pursue their business ambitions in a stimulating environment.
