Expanded Alpina-Bromy factory ceremonially opened in Tešanj. EUR 1.5 million investment, 260 workers, and 7,000 m2 of production space.

The renovated and expanded Alpina-Bromy factory was ceremonially opened in Tešanj. The investment, worth EUR 1.5 million, enabled the expansion of production capacities to a total of 7,000 square meters, increasing the number of employees to 260 workers with plans for further hiring. The ceremony was attended by Premier of Zenica-Doboj Canton Nezir Pivić, Mayor of Tešanj Suad Huskić, President of the Biznis centar Jelah – Tešanj Business Association Izudin Ahmetlić, and Alpina owner František Pivoda, who traveled from the Czech Republic for the occasion.

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Sibonjic, emphasized the strategic importance of such investments. "Launching and expanding production facilities plays a key role in strengthening the canton's economy. We are particularly pleased that renowned brands such as Alpina recognize Zenica-Doboj Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina as an attractive investment destination. Today, the canton has 26 active industrial zones, and with new zones such as the one in Vozuća in preparation, we are continuing to build an environment that provides the best conditions for domestic and foreign investors," emphasized Minister Sibonjic.

The Alpina-Bromy factory has been operating in BiH since 2008, and this opening marks the third capacity expansion in line with market needs. Director Amadea Kavčič-Jesenovec noted that the strategic plan of the new majority owner, Czech company K&H, decided that complete production from Slovenia and BiH would be relocated to Tešanj. Mayor Huskić emphasized that Tešanj is once again sending a strong message – that quality production for the most demanding European markets is possible in BiH, with over 500,000 pairs of footwear annually destined primarily for the EU market.
