IT Hub Ceremonially Opened in Zavidovici

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic, together with the Mayor of the City of Zavidovići, ceremonially opened the IT HUB in Zavidovići. The City provided the premises, while the Ministry of Economy of ZDK ensured complete equipment and funds for the project realisation.

The IT HUB is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment enabling users to educate themselves and perform the most demanding IT tasks. The Ministry of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton allocated a total of KM 200,000 for IT HUBs in Zavidovići and Maglaj, with the latter scheduled to open on 20 September. The facilities are intended for young people wishing to advance in information technology, develop innovative ideas and launch their own startup companies.

Minister Sibonjic highlighted that from today, young people in Zavidovići have exactly the same conditions as young IT professionals anywhere in the world, and expressed expectation that in cooperation with colleagues across the canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world, they will realise numerous useful projects and launch new businesses.
