IUS Delegation Led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım Visits the Ministry of Economy of ZDK

A delegation from the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), comprising Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldırım, Secretary General Ibrahim Inal and Advisor to the Rector Muhammed Yasir Göz, visited the Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton. During the visit, discussions were held on opportunities for establishing institutional cooperation that would contribute to strengthening ties between the academic community and the economic sector.

The aim of the visit was to lay the groundwork for future collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in connecting the academic community with the canton's economy. Concrete initiatives were considered that would provide students with practical experience in domestic enterprises and open space for joint research and development projects.

Minister Sibonjic expressed full support for this type of cooperation, emphasising that linking university knowledge with the needs of the economy represents one of the key prerequisites for the long-term development of Zenica-Doboj Canton. Both sides confirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue and concretise the agreed steps.
