Visit to IUS at the Invitation of DEİK BiH President Hasan Topaloğlu

At the invitation of DEİK Bosnia and Herzegovina President Hasan Topaloğlu, Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic attended the annual assembly of this economic organisation at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), the largest private university in Bosnia and Herzegovina. DEİK, as a state economic organisation operating under the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, aims to monitor and support Turkish investors worldwide.

During the assembly, Minister Sibonjic spoke with Veysil Eroğlu, one of the closest associates of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Some of the largest Turkish investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina are located precisely in Zenica-Doboj Canton, such as Natron-Hayat, while Turkish Ziraat Bank actively supports domestic and Turkish investors in their development strategies.

Readiness was expressed for new Turkish investments in the coming period, along with identification of opportunities for increasing trade, particularly in the segment of producing and exporting semi-finished products to Turkey. The Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton expressed full support and readiness to assist businesspeople in every regard.
