Minister of Economy of ZDK and Italian Ambassador Marco Di Ruzza Discussed Enhancing Cooperation
ZDK Economy Minister and Italian Ambassador Marco Di Ruzza discussed cooperation, joint venture projects and ZDK companies at SPIN 316 Business Forum in Milan.
Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic spoke in Zenica with the Ambassador of Italy to Bosnia and Herzegovina Marco Di Ruzza about the possibilities of enhancing cooperation between companies from Zenica-Doboj Canton and companies from Italy. The meeting was arranged as part of a gathering of entrepreneurs organised by the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in BiH, SPIN 316.
Minister Sibonjic emphasised that the canton's economy is very interested in joint venture projects with Italian partners, noting that combining resources, a motivated workforce and an excellent geographical position can result in extraordinary comparative advantages. Ambassador Di Ruzza announced the organisation of a Business Forum in Sarajevo to bring together Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Italian entrepreneurs with the aim of attracting investments.
The vibrancy of business cooperation between companies from the canton and Italy is illustrated by the fact that out of 8 companies from BiH participating at the Trade Fair in Milan, as many as 4 come from Zenica-Doboj Canton. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to organise an official meeting between the Ambassador and the Minister, and Minister Sibonjic extended an invitation for a similar Business Forum to be held in Zenica as well.
