Minister Šibonjić attends opening of Poštar Climbing Wall on Mount Hum

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić attended the official opening of the new climbing attraction „Poštar Climbing Wall" on Mount Hum, near the „Jedinci" mountain lodge. Through this project, Zenica-Doboj Canton has gained additional content for all enthusiasts of active rest and time spent in nature, while the six-metre artificial wall has been designed to enable climbing for everyone, from children and beginners to more experienced climbers, thanks to routes of varying difficulty.

The wall was built within the adrenaline park operated by the „Poštar" Mountaineering and Sports Society from Zenica and represents a significant addition to the tourism and sports offer of this area. The value of the project amounts to 20,000 KM, and its realisation was made possible with the support of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Ministry of Economy. Beyond its sporting significance, such facilities contribute to the development of mountain tourism, attract visitors from other parts of the country and the region, and open new opportunities for the local community, particularly young people who seek active and engaging content.

During the visit, Minister Šibonjić congratulated the „Poštar" Mountaineering and Sports Society from Zenica on the successful realisation of the project and emphasised the importance of investing in facilities that enrich the cantonal tourism offer, especially those aimed at young people. „Together we are creating a richer and more attractive environment for life in Zenica-Doboj Canton, and support for such initiatives confirms the Ministry of Economy's commitment to strengthening local communities and recognising valuable projects in sport and tourism," said Minister Šibonjić.
