Minister Šibonjić visited the start of construction of the Voćnjak - Mustajbašići centre

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Šibonjić visited the start of construction of the Cultural, Sports and Recreation Centre “Voćnjak - Mustajbašići” in Zavidovići. Funding for the project was secured with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, and works on site have begun.

Mustajbašići is a settlement in the city of Zavidovići with around 1,400 inhabitants. The “Voćnjak - Mustajbašići” centre is designed as a space that will bring local residents together and open up new opportunities for sport, recreation, cultural activities and community life. The project is part of a wider set of local initiatives supported by the Ministry with the aim of developing local communities, improving infrastructure and creating new facilities for citizens.

During the visit, Minister Šibonjić was briefed on the progress of the works and the implementation timeline of the project, which is now moving from planning and preparation to construction. Projects of this kind demonstrate the importance of investing in local communities and supporting initiatives that bring citizens together and contribute to the overall development of the community. The start of works reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting projects that create lasting value for generations to come.
