Minister Sibonjic Met with Representatives of the Prestigious Celje Fair: Cooperation Established Between ZEPS and Celje Fair

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic visited the headquarters of the Celje Fair, together with a delegation of the International General BH Economy Fair ZEPS led by General Director Elvir Ajanović, Executive Director Sanel Ibrić and Director of Corporate Communications Adis Hasaković. In a meeting with the President of the Board of Directors of the Celje Fair Nina Ermenc Pangerl and other representatives, readiness to establish cooperation between the two fairs was confirmed.

Minister Sibonjic highlighted the significance of this cooperation with a prestigious regional fair, emphasising that trade fairs are promoters of the economy and open the best channels for cooperation between national economies. The cooperation will involve mutual promotion of ZEPS and the Celje Fair, joint promotional activities and attracting exhibitors and visitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia for collective appearances at both events.

The two sides also discussed the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation as a basis for long-term partnership. The Celje Fair operates a modernly equipped fairground and congress centre with more than 20,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space and a rich tradition dating back to 1963, having organised over 300 major fair events with 500,000 visitors.
