Minister Sibonjic Received the Mayor of Olovo Municipality Kemal Memagić

Minister of Economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic held a working meeting with the Mayor of Olovo Municipality Đemal Memagić. Discussions focused on the possibilities of support from the Ministry of Economy and the ZDK Government for the realisation of key infrastructure projects in Olovo Municipality. Mayor Memagić presented the Minister with plans and goals in the area of infrastructure and capital projects.

Special focus was placed on the initiative to drill a borehole to increase thermal water capacity, which would further contribute to developing the municipality's tourism and economic potential and create a foundation for the construction of a hotel complex. Possibilities for improving the Zeleni Vir tourist destination, one of the municipality's significant natural resources, were also discussed, along with the development of the industrial zone in Olovo to attract investors and create new jobs.

Minister Sibonjic expressed the Ministry's readiness to support these projects, emphasising their contribution to local development, strengthening the Canton's economy, and improving the tourism offering. Mayor Memagić thanked the Minister for the constructive discussion and support, highlighting the importance of cooperation between municipal and cantonal authorities in improving citizens' quality of life.
