Participation in the Tenth Business Excellence Conference in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton Samir Sibonjic participated in the Tenth Business Excellence Conference in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held in Vogošća. The conference theme was "Macroeconomic Indicators as Aspects and the Need for Improving Business Excellence in Bosnia and Herzegovina." National Awards for Business Excellence for 2023 were presented to organisations from the economic, public and non-profit sectors.

The National Award for BH Excellence is granted according to the BH Excellence model and represents a significant motivator for achieving and improving sustainable excellence. Candidates are provided opportunities for self-assessment, objective evaluation by a neutral assessment team, benchmarking and media promotion, creating preconditions for candidacy for European Excellence Awards under the EFQM model.

Minister Sibonjic presented the potential of the Zenica-Doboj Canton economy, highlighting its leading position in the metal, food, construction and wood industries. He called on all attendees to join efforts in strengthening the economy and the institutional framework, emphasising the need to safeguard institutions and champion the rights and dignity of every individual.
