

Participation in the World Turkish Business Council Congress in Istanbul
Minister Sibonjic attended the DEIK World Turkish Business Council Congress in Istanbul with 4,000 participants, presenting ZDK's economic advantages.
The Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, Samir Sibonjic, attended the Congress of the World Turkish Business Council, operating within the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), held in Istanbul on 15-16 September with more than 4,000 participants. Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by Ambassador Adis Alagić, Consul Enis Komar from Istanbul, and the President of DEIK BiH, Hasan Topaloğlu.
The Congress was given special significance by the presence of President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat. The hosts paid great attention to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the economic relations between the two countries, emphasising that these relations could be significantly stronger given the existing potential.
Minister Sibonjic briefed Turkish officials on the successful cooperation to date with Turkish companies and investors, highlighting the example of Natron Maglaj, and presented the comparative advantages of the ZDK economy in the wood, metal and food industries.
