Visit to Jifeng Automotive Interior BH Žepče: A Successful Foreign Investment

The Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, Samir Sibonjic, visited the company Jifeng Automotive Interior BH d.o.o. in Žepče and held discussions with the management and employees.

"The best results come when youth, knowledge and dedication come together. That is precisely what I observed with my hosts. Jifeng Automotive Interior BH is one of the finest examples of a successful recent foreign investment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We shall all work together to ensure that there are many more such examples," Minister Sibonjic stated.

The company was established in May 2018 and is owned by Jifeng Automotive Interior GmbH, Germany. It specialises in the production of automotive part covers, headrest covers and armrest covers, manufacturing for leading European brands including BMW, Audi, VW, Daimler-Mercedes, Škoda Auto, Ineos and Land Rover.

Over five years of operations, the company has successfully completed more than 20 projects, employed over 500 workers, established cutting, assembly and foam injection processes, and opened a development department and a second location in Zenica. Plans for further expansion are already under way, with a new 3,500 square metre facility in Zenica set to be operational within six months.

The entire production is export-oriented, with 100% of output destined for Europe, making the company a significant contributor to the development of the canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole.
