Concession Awarded to Euro Stone Company Zavidovići for Mineral Exploitation in Žepče

The Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, Samir Sibonjic, and the Director of Euro Stone Company d.o.o. Zavidovići, Adis Merdić, signed a concession agreement for the exploration and exploitation of the mineral resource serpentinite-lherzolite at the Hrastova Kosa deposit in the municipality of Žepče.

The concession was awarded through a public call, with prior consent obtained from the Žepče Municipal Council and an opinion from the Cantonal Attorney's Office in Zenica. The concession covers an area of 4.38 hectares for a period of 30 years, of which two years are designated for exploration, commencing from the date of approval for geological surveys by the competent authority.

Minister Sibonjic expressed his gratitude to the Ministry staff for their efficient engagement and efforts to complete the legally prescribed procedures in the shortest possible timeframe, emphasising that this agreement opens the door to yet another important investment in Zeničko-Dobojski Canton.
