Minister Sibonjic visited Čelebić Inženjering in Zenica, a diaspora returnee's company producing metal structures and preparing a 750,000 KM photovoltaic investment.
The Minister of Economy of Zeničko-Dobojski Canton, Samir Sibonjic, visited the company Čelebić Inženjering d.o.o. in Zenica. The company is based in the Zenica business zone with a 500 m2 production hall, and was established in February 2023 by Admir Čelebić, who decided to invest in his home city after many years abroad.
Čelebić Inženjering employs five workers and specialises in the production of metal structures and components. Together with its team of engineers, the company has patented a solar panel mounting structure capable of withstanding wind speeds of up to 250 km/h. The majority of finished products are exported, with the range also including stainless steel solar showers for coastal areas and various types of metal furniture. Documentation is being prepared for a 300 kW photovoltaic power plant, with a total investment value of approximately 750,000 KM.
"In a very short time, Čelebić Inženjering has secured an excellent start with a growth and development plan that cannot leave anyone indifferent. This is yet another example of people returning to the canton with knowledge and capital to invest in their homeland. All those who follow this example will find a partner in the Ministry of Economy for all business ideas and projects," Minister Sibonjic stated.
